Love

I’ve spent years pondering what it is. And as follows are my findings:

You don’t have to agree =)

1. Love is when you know how you feel and are so content in the very emotion that you don’t feel the need for sweeping gestures, public announcements or dramatic feats.

2. Love is when rationality has not abandoned your senses and moral values still remain grounded.

3. Love is when your face lights up because of the warmth generated from some one else’s sense of love.

4. Love is patience and understanding. This to me is family. Only your family will put up with the shit you throw their way and only they will love you till the end.

5. Love is stubborn. As that of my mother’s (come home already)

6. Love is the way a father pours his heart out to his daughter. Love is the way a son does for his mother.

7. Love is and can be demanding.

8. Love is learning.

9. Love is what drives you to achieve the goals you do.

10. Love is putting your life, in His hands.

11. Love is cuddling at the end of a hard day of work and not speaking.

12. Love is the time you give to yourself and the time you make for others.

13. Love is making a sacrifice, and seeing it’s worth-then, eventually, before it’s too late?

14. Love is the kindness with which you approach

15. Love is the way you get screamed at

16. Love is being ganged up on by siblings or cousins and being tickled senseless

17. Love is watching out for some one. Love is watching over some one.

18. Love is not money.

19. Love is the fact that you tried

20. Love is winters (I know. Random)

21. Love is not clingy. Nor is it dependant.

22. Love is, the decisions we make, for the people around us, such decisions that the intentions go misunderstood..

23. Love is SPACE (give me this and I shall be yours for all eternity lol)

26. Love has no time, or moment or reason.

27. Love can heal.

28. Love is the energy you channel

31. Love is comfort – depends on what you value as comfort

32. Love is not sleep deprivation unless you’re a mother, or are looking after some one ill or something of that sort.

33. Love is respect.

34. Love is abused by many a people looking for short term goals

Ie: Permission from a parent to do something that they would probably not allow at the time

35. Love is warm

36. Love makes you laugh

37. Love does not create unrealistic expectations. People do.

38. Love is genuine gestures not outrageously mad ones

39. Love can sometimes be in a plastic bottle-chilled-on a hot day-sometimes.

40. Love is an open heart.

41. Unconditional love: My Dado the great

42. Coolest love: From a parent

43. Love: Driving a long long distance for a short while

44. Love: Me. No, I mean it.

45. Love: acknowledging the other’s presence

46. Over-worked. Tired. Annoyed. Frustrated. Feeling ‘ugly’ and then hearing: hey beautiful (thanks Dad)

47. Love: THAT smile

48. Love: A child-well most children

49. Love: Abortion

50. Love: Display of affection at random

51. Love: Going the extra mile, not to please the other, but because its instinct

52. Love: The ability to see it in all its forms

53. Love is many a splendid things

54. Love not agreeing, yet reaching the same conclusions.

55. Love is the (as clichéd as this may sound) flame that lights up our path to building bonds and relationships

56. Love is what makes our parents want to give us the best of everything

57. Love is what makes you smile when you are exhausted

58. Love is the sound of a room filled with family-family includes the friends that make it to your heart, the sort that blend in with the rest-that is love, to stop and listen to all of these people.

59. Love is telling something painful to some one and being afraid that this is the end, but having them stick around.

60. Love is the warmth with which you’re greeted by some one you couldn’t make time for all day
